My Spongebob Converses! Done with acrylic paint, I was inspired by and learned from a tutorial posted by Kiffakitty [link] I've always wanted Spongebob Converses, but could never find any that weren't for infants, so finally i decided to make some myself, and I have to say, I am BEYOND proud of myself for the way these came out! I was a little nervous at first; this was my first time doing a pair of sneakers. But now I'm feeling bold enough to see if I can get a patent on these (All rights for Spongebob would still go to the rightful owners of course, but none the less, Sista still deserves some credit for the design ^_o ) But anyway I just love my new shoes soooo much that I wanted to share them with you! <3 hope you like them as much as I do!!
I am glad that I inspired you to do this! I absolutely love these spongebob shoes! They look really professional! Make sure you put on a spray paint matte finish on your shoes to protect them from water damage! [link] Something like that will do the trick. Just warning, when you use the spray paint finish, it might make the unpainted fabric parts a bit frizzy (the mist kinda sticks to the fibers), but this wears down after while.
